The “Isosceles Sampler” throw quilt finishes at 54½’’ x 64½’’

What Notions?

You’ll need Quilter’s Template Plastic to make a triangle ruler, or you can use a cereal box! And Freezer Paper if you'd like to use Freezer Paper Piecing (instead of Paper Piecing).

What Fabric Materials:

For my wall hanging, I used 8 fat quarters for my trees, which is PLENTY of fabric. Depending on what fabric and color palette you use, scraps may be enough or you may need more. Then for the wall hanging background, you’ll need: 

• 1 3/4 yards
• 1/3 yard for binding

As far as quilting techniques, we use traditional piecing, strip sets, using a triangle trimming template, freezer paper piecing, and assembling a triangle quilt.
